Manila is actually made up of 13 cities and four municipalities that President Ferdinand Marcos placed under one urban umbrella in the 1970’s. Manila has a tropical climate with two seasons, wet and dry, with the wet season being from May until early November. The temperature varies throughout the year from a low of 75 to a high of 99 degrees Fahrenheit.
